About us
Aloe Queen, Inc., predecessor to Valley Herbal Products Inc., has been a leader in the extraction and processing of phytochemicals in juice, gel and powder forms for the health supplement industry for over 30 years.

Beginning with Aloe Vera in extracted juice and gel form, Aloe Queen pioneered much of the technology used today for the extraction and processing of natural plant Nutraceuticals in juice, gel and powder form.  For the last 15 years, our companies, first Aloe Queen and then Valley Herbal, have also focused on Nopal (Opuntia Ficus-indica), also known as prickly pear cactus.  We have found Nopal to be remarkable in its ability to affect a broad range of human health issues.  Many who tried our Nopal Extract for a particular reason found unexpectedly that it positively affected other health issues.  Much of what we have learned about Nopal has come from satisfied customers.

Valley Herbal Products (VHP) was officially chartered as a sister company to Aloe Queen in 2009.  Valley Herbal Products/Aloe Queen occupies an 10,000 sq. ft. facility in McAllen, Texas. Under construction is a 30,000 sq.ft. facility into which the companies will move in the spring of 2017.

In addition to the facilities in McAllen, Texas, we are one, if not the only, US supplier of Aloe Vera and Nopal products that processes fresh-harvested Nopal pads and Aloe Vera leaves imported from their native growing areas in Mexico, the gold standard source for Nopal and Aloe Vera.  We own 2 manufacturing/processing facilities in Mexico.  These facilities permit Valley Herbal/Aloe Queen to contract directly with local growers for the world’s highest quality fresh-harvested Nopal pads and Aloe Vera leaves.

Today, Aloe Queen and its sister company Valley Herbal Products process and market approximately 1,500,000 gallons equivalent of Aloe Vera and Nopal products annually. In total, Valley Herbal/Aloe Queen internationally employs over 100 people.

Valley Herbal Products Nopal products and Aloe Queen Aloe Vera products are certified organic and kosher.  The companies are licensed by the Department of State Health Services – State of Texas.  Aloe Queen Aloe Vera products are further certified for purity by the International Aloe Safety Council (IASC).  Both companies are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified.
